Day 1 in California, New Year's Eve. My sister, Sue, and her husband, Bob, were headed out to a party on the USS Midway aircraft carrier. They left my aunt Val, my niece Tina, her two kids, and me, all alone.
We drank some wine, we watched t.v., we played dominoes and hearts, and at about 12:15 AM, my aunt and I left to go to our hotel. It was a nice quiet way to spend New Year's Eve.

Cant remember what I was doing that night...oh wait...I was packing *still*. Damn there was so much stuff and Im really picky about how my stuff is packed up so I had about 2/3 of it done by the time the packers showed up. Changed my mind on a few items even on Tuesday when the loaders showed up.
