I'm sitting here at the computer at 12:13AM, when I should be sleeping. Tell that to the a**holes upstairs. Since 10pm they've been bouncing around like they want to put a hole through my ceiling, running up and down the stairs, pushing my buzzer along with theirs, and in case you haven't figure it out yet, being just plain annoying. Every time I put my head down to try to relax and go to sleep, BOOM, another pounce. What is it with people? With all the times I've complained to the management, you'd think they'd get the idea that they need to kind of hold it down at night. Maybe it's finally time to start looking for another place. A place where I have no one around me who is in the restaurant business. A place where I'M on the top floor, with no one above me. A place with no outside north wall! I have 10 months before I would have to be out of here, plenty of time to get packed and moved, right?

    Hmmm... alternately you could buy a taser....

    *hugs* hope you got some sleep - it must be an interesting dream to have - where you think up different ways to get rid of these people.

    I'm hoping you were able to get some sleep, too. Pushing your buzzer? Management should at least do something about that because that's gotta be harrassment. *sends a hug because I think you need one*

    Harrassment's right. Time to tell the management office that enough's enough and that if they wont deal with it, you'll be filing a complaint with the BBB (make sure to cc the owner of the complex and the human resources person so THEY can see their office employees are NOT dealing with this problem). You ARE keeping a log of all the noise complete with dates, times and types of noise right? I'd also take to calling the cops...everytime. That way there's a papertrail showing there's a problem.

    I used to live in NYC so I know how you feel. Sadly, I still do and I live in a home I own in L.A. I have an apartment building right behind me and the jack ass who has a place almost facing over my yard thinks nothing of throwing parties until all hours and I have a little kid who is trying to sleep. I'm thrilled for you that they are going. Yahoo!!!
