Saturday night I watched Inception, starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Very deep! I heard both good and bad comments about the movie, but usually like to make up my own mind. I remember from the movie trailer, I had no idea what the movie was about. Here's the plot line:
"In a world where technology exists to enter the human mind through dream invasion, a highly skilled thief is given a final chance at redemption which involves executing his toughest job to date: Inception."
Basically, they invade someone's dream to steal information, but this job is to plant an idea instead.
The visual effects are fantastic, and when it was over, the idea of controlling a dream amazes me. I really enjoyed it.
Has anyone else seen this movie? If so, what did you think of it?

I haven't seen it, but seeing the trailers on TV made me wonder if I would want to see it. The idea of someone controlling dreams to the point the showed in the trailer was scary! But I may watch it, if it ever comes on netflix :D
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it, but I do plan on watching it at some point; most movies end up on "Sky Movies Premier" eventually, and that's usually when I watch them. That's why I have that channel! ;)
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it either. The previews on tv looked like it might be something I would like, tho.
ReplyDeleteTerri and I just watched it on HBO tonight. We thought a lot of it was hard to follow, and we were both confused throughout the movie. Guess we couldn't wrap our brains around some of the plot and why they brought certain things into the movie. Someone sure had a wild imagination in creating this movie. The visual effects were great, but I thought it was a strange movie. Would I watch it again? Maybe. To try to catch the things I couldn't follow the first time around.
ReplyDeleteI have this movie, but haven't had the time to watch it yet!! The previews I've seen were amazing though!!
ReplyDeleteI bet you enjoyed looking at Leonardo. Who's the leading lady in the film? I'm used to putting them to sleep when I talk to them, so I might enjoy seeing them sleep in a movie.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it, but now I want to. Actually, I hadn't even heard of it. I live such a sheltered life, lol.
