Ok, I know Spring is really here for two reasons:

A red-winged blackbird I saw on my balcony over the weekend.

And an American Robin I saw this morning in the tree outside my window chirping. Both are migratory birds that start showing up when the weather warms up. Now I KNOW Spring is here! Wooooooooo Hooooooooooooooo

  2. My yard is over run with red squirrels in the summer time. They are a tad bit smaller than the grey ones but make a lot more noise.
I am hoping to see a robin soon. Since you've seen one, I now have hope!

  3. Your Robins might wait until the snow is gone before they arrive, lmao.

  4. I imagine they will. Could be July before I see one if that happens. :-(

  5. We had robins all over the place last week before the snow storm hit. And they're still out there.

(wow...you sure must have a lot of snow where you live, lainie)

  6. Not really AK, I may have exaggerated that a bit. What I meant, though, is it's still cold and the snow just doesn't seem to be melting any. It's never gonna warm up. :-(
