Since I hadn't posted in a few days, I thought I'd show you the pictures I took a couple weeks ago of my friend's kids in the pool.

This is Sarah, my friend Pam's youngest. She just turned 6.

Another picture of Sarah.

This is Rachel, my friend Ann's oldest. She's almost 10.

This is Jimmy, Pam's middle child. He's 7.

Here's Evan, Ann's youngest, also 7, and his sister Rachel is behind him.

Evan defending himself from Julia, Pam's oldest. She will turn 12 at the end of December.

Evan and Jimmy trying to play Alligator. A game Ann told them about where one person is the alligator, standing in the middle of the pool, and everyone else has to cross the pool as quietly as they can so the "alligator" won't hear them. And you can't swim underwater. LOL, no one EVER got across.

I'll have to find my pictures from my hot air balloon ride several years ago, so I can scan them and show you what happened, lol. It won't happen tonight, since I'm keeping score for NTT later. But maybe by next weekend.

  3. Love the photos! Looks like the kids were having a great time.

I used to play the aligator game with my brothers when I was little. Mam made us stop playing though, because my brothers kept dunking me under the water when they caught me and because I wasn't a big fan of water, I'd cry. :(

  5. My goodness that looks like so much fun. Our favorite game in a private pool like that (not that we really got to swim in one often) was Marco Polo.

  6. Oh we used to play Marco Polo as well. Wow, that is a childhood memory I haven't thought about in a very long time.

  8. I loved playing Marco Polo as a kid at the neighborhood pool. We also played Rag Tag, and King of the Mountain (only with an innertube.)

No pictures of me, cause us adults didn't get in the water, and I'm not going to take a picture of myself, lmao

    What?

  9. Love the pics. Ahhhh memories...Marco Polo and when we got older we played something called chicken? Where you pair up with someone and they get on your shoulders and you try to knock each other off their partner. I used to love to be in the pool but I am a wimp now and prefer bath water. LMAO

  10. I hear ya Chicago. Dont believe I've been in the water much as an adult anyhow....some recurring nightmare of some kids trying to "save the beached whale..."

LOL j/k. Aint much for beaches to be honest and dont have access to a private pool (I just dont do those public ones anymore) so why bother getting a swimsuit (not that they can make one in this size that I'd feel comfortable going in public wearing).

Oh I hated chicken. I didnt (and still dont) do heights well so I always ended up doing the carrying. Ugh.
