American Idol Top 36 starts tonight, with the first group of 12. Three stick around, the other nine go home. Who was good enough? I think Alexis Grace was. Here's her performance of "Never Loved A Man" by Aretha Franklin.

    I love American Idol, but I couldn't stay up to watch it all. I turn a very horrible bad turn last night - ugh!

    And one more "grits" comment lady and you'll get some thrown at you, lol!!!

    I was amazed at how professional some of the contestants were. Others... NOT. I haven't sorted through their names in my mind yet, but I do agree that Alexis Grace stood out. I hope that irritating katiana gets sent home pronto.
